This Privacy Policy applies to the Layers: Daily Word Puzzle mobile application, referred to in this document as the "Application." The Application is provided by Hidden Layer Labs LLC, referred to as the "Service Provider," as a freemium mobile application.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it may be used, and what choices you have when using the Application.
Information Collection and Use
The Application may collect information when you download, access, or use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address, such as IP address
- The pages or screens of the Application that you visit
- The time and date of your visit
- The time spent using the Application
- The operating system used on your mobile device
- Device identifiers or advertising identifiers, where permitted by your device settings
- Gameplay data
- Purchase status and subscription status

- Email address, if provided or used for account-related features
The Application does not collect precise location information from your mobile device.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence technologies to process your data or provide app features.
The Service Provider may use collected information to provide, maintain, improve, and personalize the Application, process access to paid features, show advertisements, analyze app performance, detect crashes, and communicate important notices.
Advertising
The Application may display advertisements through Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect and use certain information, including device information, advertising identifiers, app usage information, approximate location data, and other data permitted by your device settings and applicable law. This information may be used to provide, personalize, limit, and measure advertisements.
You may be able to limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier through your device settings.
Subscriptions and Purchases
The Application may offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. The Application does not offer a free trial unless one is clearly displayed at the time of purchase through the applicable app store.
RevenueCat may be used to manage purchase status, subscription status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, entitlement information, and access to paid features. Apple or another applicable app store may process payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds according to its own terms and privacy policy.
The Service Provider does not directly receive or store your full payment card details.
Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or your device. These services have their own privacy policies:
The Service Provider may share information with trusted third-party service providers that help operate, improve, analyze, monetize, or maintain the Application. These providers are expected to process information according to their own policies and applicable law.
Data Disclosure
The Service Provider may disclose user-provided or automatically collected information:
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or similar legal process
- When disclosure is believed to be necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or security
- To investigate fraud, abuse, technical issues, or security concerns
- To trusted service providers who help operate or improve the Application
- In connection with a business transfer, merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application.
You may also be able to limit certain data collection through your device settings, including advertising identifier settings, analytics permissions, notification permissions, and app tracking settings where available.
Data Retention
The Service Provider will retain user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period afterward, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

The Service Provider will respond in a reasonable time. Some information may be retained when necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, app store purchase verification, or legitimate business purposes.
Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit, collect, or market to children under 13.
If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personally identifiable information, the Service Provider will delete that information from its systems as soon as reasonably possible. Security
The Service Provider is concerned about protecting your information and uses reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained through the Application.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. The Service Provider cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted means that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

By using the Application, you consent to the collection and processing of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
